On 12/12/2000 at the "Hilton Hotel", the Puplic Journalism Institute, owned by Athanasios Vas. Botsi, awarded him by the presence of the Greek President Mr. Kontantinos Stafanopoulos for his "age old journalistic work and his contribution to journalistic education".
On 29/11/20001, his short story "TA PERASMATA", received the 1st prize of the 1st Pan-Helenic literary contest, held by the Panhellenic Federation of Resistance Groups.
